Our first experience of Parisian coffee was lets say... a massive let down. Not
that we were expecting anything less, given our over exposure to excellent coffee
culture in Sydney. We both knew that Paris has a totally different vibe, and so
had already commenced our daily tea routine instead.
This place came as a beautiful surprise, being only 10 minutes walk away across
picturesque Ill-St-Louis. It has heaps of retro couches, a wall of coffee to
choose from, bilingual baristas (yes! baristas! in Paris!) and an amazing vibe.
The owner is a gorgeous little Guatemalan women with a passion for direct trade,
and decent coffee.
Plus, they have the same coffee table as us... They must have good taste.
