have 4-5 lists going at once. List of places to go in Europe, List of things to do at
the moment (one for uni, one for Love Mercy, one for general life), and probably
the most important, List of things to do in Paris.
The last week has seen the little section of my brain that releases endorphins
when something gets ticked off my to-do list (this is a proven fact i will have you
know) has gone into overdrive!
I don't have the photos to prove it, because Luke either wasn't present or he
forgot his camera, but I did so many new and exciting things last week!
1. I explored Quartier Montorgueil and visited the incredible Espace Killiwatch
2. I went and ate the best crepes ever at Marche ou crêpe on Rue Oberkampf. I
am not big on sweet dessert crêpes but when I saw the size of the strawberries
they were using I had to dive in... Strawberry and Milk Cholocate. Oh Goodness!
However, next time I will remember not to ride home uphill and induce certain
post-crêpe death.
Pretty gross.. but really yummy. The remnants of my chocolate crepe on my handbag. |
coffee for the well established egg cafe. Had the best eggies benedict ever! Luke
had an epic concoction of mushrooms, red wine, onions and bacon on top of
poached eggs. Drooled.
4. We rode bikes half way across the city and visited Pere Lachaise Cemetery. We
visited a few of the greats who now are buried there, like Chopin, Jim Morrison,
Oscar Wild, and Edith Piaf.
Friday was such a sunny day- 15 degrees! That is just unheard of. It was beautiful to spend the day outside in the sun, walking and riding around Paris. |
So what is left on the To-do List?
Some highlights:
See a concert in St-Chappelle church
Go and see a show at the Opera Garnier
Visit the Pantheon
Musee D'orsay
Espace Dali
I am open to other suggestions if anyone has any must-see Paris highlights!
you need to get your skinny butt to saint chappelle. honestly best thing ive ever done. favourite place we visited in paris. you walk up this tiny tiny tiny stairs and then these windows lit-rally punch you in the groin. when we went though, there was this real fat old lady who was really on struggle street getting up those stairs. felt like palming her ass and really booting her up there, you know?
ReplyDeletelove you pal.
