| Cute little street in the 20th. |
have never been before. I've been catching the bus which has been great for my
sense of direction, I've been preparing my wardrobe for warmer times with
frequent trips to Guerrisol, I've been seeing my lady friends at various spots
around the city, and I've been checking out the coffee at places other than the Cafeotheque.
(shocking, i know.)
Luke and I have spent the last 3 Friday's ticking things off our list - Lunch at Le
Marche des Enfants rouge, a cute little food market in the centre of town, a walk
around the Buttes-Chaumont, a stroll around Pere Lachaise, brunching at the
delightful Eggs & Co and just generally trying out hardest to be authentic
Parisians. In doing so, I have felt that Paris has become even more Paris-y. I am
noticing the little things that people associate with Paris, that I hadn't really
noticed very much. These things are hard to pinpoint, and even harder to
photograph. A guy on a Vespa with a Louis Vuitton bag, couples making out in
public places, models getting off the metro at the Jardin des Tuileries (it is
fashion week after all), the sun shining on the fountains, people enjoying long 3
course lunches...
Here is a little snapshot of the last few weeks to make up for my vagueness.
Luke has been reluctant to take his camera places because he has been riding his
bike. Without decent photos, I am reluctant to share much. I realised that maybe
people don't care too much about the quality of the photos, they just want to
know what we have been up to!
So here we go... ENJOY!

I think I just wished so hard (that I was there) my head almost blew up akjhdjbcjhcbvjkgs
