Guerrisol

Leather Shorts: $5, Silk blouse: $2

I have been meaning to mention my new Paris obsession. Guerrisol. Imagine

Vinnies, but without the charity part, and without the ever increasing price for

second hand junk. There are 5 Guerrisol's around Paris, and honestly, buying

vintage clothes has never been so fun nor so cheap in all of my days.

I spent all Saturday discovering the 3 stores that I hadn't yet found, and spent

between 1 and 2 hours in each. The results were 3 plastic bags full of great stuff,

for less than 40euros.

My favourite purchase...

A pair of suede green Chanel booties with ribbons on the front. For 10euros.

(I'm not even pretending that they are Chanel. They really are! It even says it on

the sole!)

The luxury of shopping at this place is turning my nose up at items that I would

jump on at home, purely because of their age or their character. There is such an

abundance of great quality vintage stuff for cheaper than the cheapest regular

retail store. I'm never buying new again!
