Toussaint

This week is school holidays for Toussaint. My "List of Things to Do In Paris" is
ever expanding, and regardless of how many things I seem to cross off, it always
looks bigger than the last time I checked it. So today we set about being proper
tourists.

First stop was the Madeline church in the 1st Arrondissement, just near the Place
de la Concorde. Somehow, we managed to stumbled upon three amazing
chocolate shops afterwards, including one on Rue Saint-Honoré.

My choice: a chocolate macaroon with caramel ganache inside. Yum.

A suitcase made just for me!

Quick rest in the sun on the steps of the Tuileries Gardens

After a quick break amongst the autumn leaves, we went for lunch at a beautiful

cafe/gallery Le Bal.Lunch was so yummy (Celery soup with potato and pumpkin
gratin) followed by a coffee cupping (with a quick visit to Guerrisol in between.
It's only across the road!) All in all, a day well spent.
