Back in the game...

After 4 weeks down and out in Paris hit with the Chicken Pox (La Varicelle en
francais, at least i leaned something) then the shingles, and then who knows
what else, I am finally feeling a bit better and ready to go enjoy Paris again!

We recently visited the Rodin Sculpture Museum with some family who were
visiting. It was such a beautiful day, and given that I had been cooped up in the
loft for 10 days, it was a great welcome back to reality!

The Thinker

Les Invalides, The Thinker, and the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Not bad.

The museum is in a big old house in the middle of Paris, with high ceilings, bit
windows and lots and lots of Rodin's masterpieces. Walking through the house
with the sun shining, the beautiful spring breeze in the garden, and the rose
gardens was just delighful!

  1. I'm hoping there will still be pretty gardens with flowers at the beginning of October - what do you think?
