Junk in your trunk

Today I went to the Louis Vuitton "Voyage en Capitale" exhibition at the Musee

Carnavarlet in the Marais. It was so inspiring to see all of the incredible

craftsmanship in every trunk, and all of the cute details of each piece.

There were picnic trunks, wardrobe trunks, pharmaceutical trunks, a trunk with a

bed in it (!) and even a trunk for your barbie dolls if you are that way inclined, or

if you decide to spend that much money so your kid has somewhere to store

their crap.

Picnic Trunk

For only $3.50 it was a nice escape from the rain, and a lovely afternoon spent

with a new friend. The show runs until February 2011 so be sure to check it out if

you come to find yourself in this fine city.
